b. 1987 Jessica is an artist living and working in Naarm | Melbourne. Her expanded photo-media practice identifies the photographic image as a slippery site and a leaky surface through which information flows, exploring its use as an apparatus for constructing and inscribing desires. Focusing on consumer culture, Jessica explores notions of material and immaterial, real and ideal to consider an experience of images and the demand for illusory ideals.
